Education History: I have had a long term interest and experience in the healthcare sector. I first completed a nursing degree and subsequently worked for Queensland Health. After sustaining an injury from a car accident I developed a greater understanding of the role of a physiotherapist to enable patients to return to health even after injury or illness. I then completed a Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland in 2009.
I have worked in both the public and private sectors and was a lecturer and clinic manager at the University of Queensland and I continue to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate student learning at UQ.
Areas of Interest: Cardiorespiratory and women’s health physiotherapy.
